Dr. McCauley is a board-certified nephrologist who completed his nephrology training at the University of California, Irvine. He has been working continuously as a practicing nephrologist since 1997 and has almost 30 years of experience taking care of patients with kidney disease. He has a unique perspective as a nephrologist and truly understands what patients are going through, having personally dealt with kidney disease all his life. He started dialysis as a teenager, and 45 years later with a functioning kidney transplant he is an inspiration to us all, and proof that the battle against kidney disease can be fought and won. He lives in Roseburg and is affectionately known in town as the “cowboy doctor”.

Dr. Chandran is a board-certified nephrologist who completed his nephrology training at the University of California in San Diego. He has been a clinical nephrologist since 2003, and worked for 17 years in a large private practice in Portland, OR. He has been working in Roseburg as a nephrologist since 2021 with Centennial Kidney Associates. In addition to his 22+ years of clinical nephrology practice, he has extensive experience setting up hospital and outpatient dialysis programs. His passion is rural healthcare delivery, and he is very active with the National Rural Health Association and hospitals across the country to bring comprehensive kidney care services locally to rural and underserved communities.

Stephanie is a Coos County native who is a board-certified nurse practitioner. Furthermore, she has achieved the highest level of nursing education possible, and is also a Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP). She has 5 years of experience as a nephrology-specific nurse practitioner taking care of patients with CKD (chronic kidney disease) and ESRD (dialysis). She is passionate about educating and empowering her patients and enjoys building long-term relationships and strong connections with patients and families.

Daun has 14 years of experience as a certified medical assistant, including 8 years in nephrology and 6 years in cardiology. She has worked at Centennial Kidney Associates in Roseburg since 2018 and is transitioning to Roseburg Kidney Care along with Dr. McCauley and Dr. Chandran who she has worked with closely for years. She has the unenviable task of keeping the two doctors in line, and all our patients would agree that she is the glue that holds the practice together.

A dialysis patient’s vascular access is their lifeline, and for this reason we have a dedicated vascular access coordinator whose primary responsibility is to monitor our patients’ fistulas and grafts. Kalani started his dialysis career in 2003 as a Patient Care Technician (PCT), and for 10 years he oversaw the vascular access program for the largest nephrology practice in the Pacific NW (~1500 dialysis patients). Like Dr. McCauley he has personal experience with kidney disease, having been on hemodialysis & peritoneal dialysis himself, and now has a functioning kidney transplant. He works closely with the dialysis staff and the surgeons to proactively address any vascular access issues. He is ultrasound-trained, and visits patients at the dialysis units regularly to do ultrasound evaluations of accesses.

Sheridan (alongside Daun) also worked with Dr. McCauley and Dr. Chandran at Centennial Kidney Associates prior to the transition to Roseburg Kidney Care in early 2026. She is a certified medical administrative assistant and has years of experience in graphic design, operational management and leadership. She worked as a training coordinator for Centennial Medical Group for 3 years. She is experienced in insurance verification and office organizational workflows, and works hard to ensure that patients always have the best customer service experience possible.
